How Do These Stick Sports Compare?

What are the differences between field hockey and lacrosse?
Lacrosse is much faster pace. You have a stick in your hand and you catch the ball up by your head. In field hockey, it’s on the ground and it is much slower.

Which sport do you like better, lacrosse or field hockey? Why?

I like lacrosse better because it is faster paced.

Is there different training between two sports?

No, there is a lot of running in both of them.

Do you do club field hockey or lacrosse?

I do club lacrosse not club field hockey.

What are the differences in club competition?

They’re both kind of competitive.

Do you want to play either of these sports in college? Why?

I might want to play club lacrosse in college, but I haven’t decided yet it depends on what school I go to.

What are the differences between field hockey and lacrosse?

Lacrosse is more in the air sport because you are throwing the ball, while field hockey is more on the ground.

Which sport do you like better lacrosse or field hockey? Why?

I prefer field hockey because I enjoy it more and I played it a bit longer.

Is there different training between two sports?

There is different training it is kind of similar, but for field hockey we did more weight training with our coach with lacrosse you focus on sprinting.

Do you do club field hockey or lacrosse?

I do play club field hockey with club Lei. It is here in Monument.

What are the differences in club competition?

The differences in club competition are pretty different because you’re competing against teams from different states where field hockey is more popular so it is more intense.

Do you want to play either of these sports in college? Why?

I want to play field hockey in college because I love to play it and I just want to keep playing it.

What are the differences between field hockey and lacrosse?

Lacrosse has the ball in the air and in field hockey it is on the ground and in lacrosse we play with 12 players in field hockey you play with 11. So those are some minor differences.

Which sport do you like better lacrosse or field hockey? Why?

I like lacrosse better because it is faster paced and I have been playing it longer.

Is there different training between two sports?

Most of the training is pretty similar, but I would say with field hockey you diffidently get used to being low to the ground a lot and then lacrosse you just have to work on upper body strength and Field Hockey is lower body.

Do you do club field hockey or lacrosse?

I have done club field hockey and I do play club Lacrosse right now.

What are the differences in club competition?

As far as when you travel for tournaments their pretty similar you go to different states and you play a bunch of different games against teams around the nation so that’s similar but the sports are different.

Do you want to play either of these sports in college? Why?

I’m going to play lacrosse in college because I enjoy playing the sport.
