The Bear Truth

New Worlds

A world where the wildest dream come true

By Lexi Hansen, Reporter

There are many mixed emotions about books and no one is wrong in the way they see books. There are some things to address about reading and most of them are positive and should get more people involved with reading. Whatever someone may be into, there’s a genre for it and a particular book they can relate to. The good thing about books is they don’t have restraint, meaning they can be the weirdest, most wild ideas you possibly think of. Someone could write about an underwater centaur village, and they live in harmony with mer-people until one fateful day.  No person on earth can put a price on the imagination of those who seek adventure. You might not be physically transported, but for some they are there in the embodiment of one of their favorite characters. Mostly everyone chooses their favorite on how much they can relate to them, even if that person or thing is not the main character. Reading increases your IQ; although not very many people care about being smart. Overall reading is something to be enjoyed and not hated.Photo by Lexi Hansen
